Meet Kayla Furman

Mom, Military Veteran, and Photographer
Raised on Virginia’s Eastern Shore

My love of photography was inspired by my Grandmother. Photographs were my grandmother’s most prized possession. Due to a brain injury that stole six years of her memory, photographs became even more important to her. My grandmother treasured photographs, and loved to show them off.

My interest in photography began early as I found myself snapping and developing countless rolls of 110mm film and polaroids as a child! I used a dark room during my years in high school. Later in life, after giving birth to my first child, I experienced a new-found love for photography.

Since then, I have made it my goal as a photographer to capture and freeze sweet moments in time. I am happy to do the same for you.
